Continuing Professional Education - CPE

    

Continuing Professional Education has become a necessary part of a professional’s life. The purpose of CPE is to ensure Professional Practitioners regularly update their clinical skills and professional knowledge. It is a commitment to updating and furthering one’s education.

 

The principes of the AIK Ltd CPE requirement and what activities qualify for CPE are explained in the CPE journal below .

 

 

For the year 2019 CPE Journal (to be used for CPE points collected during the year 2019):

 

 

 

Continuing Professional Education (CPE) is a requirement of The Institute and applies to the following membership levels for submission at the end of the membership year (when renewing their membership): 

 

  •  Standard - 5 CPE points / year
  •  Registered - 10 CPE points / year
  •  Registered Professional and levels above- 20 CPE points / year

 


New eligible members joining half way through a membership period (July - December) will have until December the following year to fulfil their CPE requirement.


Members who do not fulfill this requirement will not qualify for AIK membership.
